Seaboard Broiled Snipe




1 Snipe, drawn
1 tablespoon Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
1 teaspoon Minced sweet pickle
2 tablespoons Softened butter
1/2 teaspoon Seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon Freshly-ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 slice Raw bacon

1. Fill cavity with crumbled browned bacon and sweet pickle, mixed
2. Truss birds, cover with softened butter, and dust with seasoned salt, pepper, and paprika
3. Wrap in bacon slice and brown under broiler
4. When browned, reduce heat to medium or lower rack and broil for 15 minutes, basting and turning frequently
